More about the Ten Cheapest States to Live in for 2021
CNBC put out an article titled “These are America’s 10 cheapest states to live in for 2021.” They compared things such as the average price of a house or the average price of a monthly energy bill. There are a few categories missing that may be important to the readers, like the education system and the health care system.
The ten cheapest states are #10 Indiana, (tie) #8 Tennessee, (tie) #8 Georgia, #7 New Mexico, #6 Alabama, #5 Missouri, #4 Arkansas, #3 Oklahoma, #2 Kansas, #1 Mississippi. Two of these are in the top half of the country in education and only one is in the top half for health care.
While being the most expensive on this list, Indiana comes with its perks. Being 22nd on the list of education making it the highest-rated among all these states. While Indiana has a nice appeal, the most appealing of all these might just be in the #2 spot, Kansas.
The second cheapest state to live in is ranked 23rd in education and 14th in health care, not only making it the highest-rated but the only one to make it in the top 30.
If it just comes down to what is cheapest, Mississippi is going to be the best choice. If other factors, such as health and education, come into play, then Kansas is going to be the best choice on this list.
